In our project, we deploy market-specific assets that are later reused in templates. Currently, after each deployment, we have to manually share these assets with the corresponding business unit. This manual process is time-consuming and repetive

I'd like the Devtools to automatically share an asset with target bussiness unit based on the sharingProperties parameter from assets

• New post-deployment "share" task that shares selected assets based on the sharingProperties parameter from asset
• Adding --share flag to the deploy command, which triggers automatic sharing using the sharingProperties parameter from assets

hi @kacperkruger Im not sure i fully understand your request but maybe the following questions help us:

1. Why share items if you could simply copy them with mcdev?
2. What kind of assets are you talking about it?
3. How would you imagine mcdev identifies what to share with which BU?

Hi, I've got few answers from our team. Please let me know if you need any additional details

1. We have a setup where the logic (journeys) is stored in the parent BU, while the content is stored in the child BUs. For example, in our case, the global OrderCompleted journey is stored in the parent BU, but the content for each specific country and language is stored in its dedicated BU (e.g., content for Germany is stored in the German BU).
   This structure supports our regionalization approach and access management
2. We use HTML Content Blocks
3. I was thinking of using the sharingProperties field from JSON. We could use the sharedWith parameter to reference the BU ID and the sharingType field to define permissions
