Hello,
I am trying to install your driver on debian 13.
This is my first post on GitHub and I am very new to Linux in general, feel free to point out any mistakes and misbehavior :)

The installation worked without errors, after rebooting i am following your post-install-guide and run
sudo ./displaylink-debian.sh --debug.
This gives me the following information under "DisplayLink info" (find the whole debug information in the end):

Driver version: 1.14.11
DisplayLink service status:
EVDI service version: /sys/devices/evdi/version not found

The directory in the error message is simply non existent.
ls -l in /sys/devices reveals no folder "evdi".

However, the evdi module was installed as a dependency in the driver installation process.
The terminal displayed

DisplayLink evdi module installed succesfully.

before the reboot. I can provide screenshots of the installation process if that helps, but i think i can't upload them here.

There was one errormessage before the reboot that said

Setting up displaylink-driver (6.1.1-17) ...
ln: failed to create symbolic link '/lib/systemd/system-sleep/displaylink.sh': No such file or directory

but i don't know what that means.
What am i missing?

I tried the debugging step both with and without the displaylink being plugged into my laptop. The resulting terminal looks the same -- as expected.
In the following i pasted the whole debug-screen.

I hope i provided all the necessary information.
Happy to hear from you -- thanks in advance :)
