Installing on NixOs without Home Manager possible?

Hey,

I'm wondering if it's possible to use dms on nix without home manager? All the guides seem to be tailored towards the use with home manager.

EDIT: The bit i was missing was adding

  imports =
    [ # Include the results of the hardware scan.
      ./hardware-configuration.nix
      dankMaterialShell.nixosModules.dankMaterialShell
    ];

can you elaborate ?
I installed it but manually. Clone the repo, build with make and add dms to my path without make install.
But if you found a better way I would be happ.
