Template Bookmarking #2931

What problem will this feature address?

With each new major release, a lot of new templates have become available, and it's becoming increasingly time-consuming for users to track the ones they find useful or would like to reuse later. Currently, there is no native way in place to save or reference a subset of desired templates among hundreds, meaning that users have to repeatedly search or write down the names of the templates in a text file outside the application.

Describe the solution you'd like

Implement a template bookmarking or "favorites" feature that allows users to;

  • Mark a template as a "favorite" from the template list or details view.
  • View all favorited templates in a dedicated section (e.g., a "Bookmarks" tab or filter).
  • Unmark a template to remove it from the favorites list.

Describe alternatives you've considered

As of now, I have just been using a notebook and a notepad, which is pretty time-consuming. I have also tried clicking on create, but not deploying the template to have it stored on a project's pane called bookmarks
