After I published an article using the Code Block Pro plug-in in WordPress to highlight my code, when I edited the article again, the Code Block prompt "This block has been updated. Press update to refresh."

So this happens when the rendering of the block code from the plugin doesn't match that of the rendered output from the database.

Is this happening every time or just once?

If just once then you can probably just click Update and it won't happen again.

If it's happening every time, then it's often the case there is a conflict with another plugin. Either another plugin is looking for some data that isn't there, or transforming some data that the code block is using.

If it is another plugin, and you can identify which one, then I can possibly add something to the code to make them work together. Otherwise I could contact the other developer and ask them as well.

Do you know how to check the browser console? Can you check there for errors?

Does it break only on specific code you type in or on any code?

If this were a global issue then there would be a lot of people reporting it, so there must be something unique about your site that we need to figure out.

Looks like having a \ at the end of any code block will break it. I'll fix this today.

It actually still works on the frontend so you can add the code and publish it, but it's rendering incorrectly in the editor after page refresh

The fix is a bit complicated actually. Could you just put a space after it (\ )? That seems to work. I'm not sure if that's ok though for your code?

I could add a space after the , but that's not perfect. Anyway, I'm sorry for bothering you with this.
