Finite Field constructor too slow

In Magma, GF(5, 3125) takes about 0 sec, in Nemo I lost patience.
It finished, 650 seconds. There is room for improvement - no idea though what Magma is doing, but its FAST

My first guess concerning this is that it could just be that Magma has the relevant Conway polynomials already available, but FLINT does not. (This is just a guess, I haven't looked at any code)
