Crafting a resume can be daunting to users. After spending months possibly even years going through the curriculum and building connections the last thing we want to battle is a poor resume. I propose we have a small lesson that outlines some basics to resume creation as well as utilizing this resource How to get a job directly from a hiring manager who gives great advice both how to craft a resume, what hiring managers are looking for, and other details which may be useful.

I am specifically referencing the resume template and guide section.

Hi @BryanF1nes, this is a great suggestion to improve the resume lesson! I'm looking to make my first contribution and was wondering if this issue is available to be worked on? I understand it's a bit more involved than a simple typo fix, but I'd be happy to give it a shot if you're not already planning to work on it yourself. Thanks!

This makes sense @BryanF1nes, thanks for the proposal. Instead of a separate lesson, I think the existing Resume-building project in the Getting Hired course should be expanded with what you're proposing, and can be reviewed further in the PR.

That lesson also doesn't yet conform to the project heading structure from our style guide (e.g. missing assignment section). So perhaps your expansion could include resolving that too. Would probably make it easier to structure your additions as well. Assigning you to this.

Sorry @AdityaSirsalkar001, this is both a bigger change that would be better handled by the proposer, and they've requested assignment first already so I'll prioritise them. But do keep a look out for any other issues that may need help and request assignment if you wish.
