[Bug] ImHex not responding to keyboard/mouse events (VMware Workstation) #2511

What's the issue you encountered?
I tried to use the latest ImHex NoGPU version on Windows 11 running on VMware Workstation but quickly found out that something is really wrong. Actions such as hovering over, clicking on UI elements or pressing Tab to focus on next UI element aren't working most of the time.
I also tried the NoGPU version on my host system and didn't run into this issue.
My latest working version on Windows 10/11 on VMware Workstation is 1.35.3 NoGPU.
How can the issue be reproduced?
Start imhex-gui.exe in Windows 10/11 on VMware Workstation and hover over or click on any UI elements.
