IGNOREIP variable removed in v2? Alternative to avoid duplicate entries on IP change?

Hi!
In v1 I used the IGNOREIP environment variable (or ignoreip: "yes") to detect hosts by MAC only and ignore IP changes.
In the current v2 (up to release 2.1.3, July 26, 2025), I don’t see ignoreip in the README, config_v2.yaml defaults, or environment variables list. Has it been removed?
If so: is there an alternative way in v2 to treat devices solely by MAC and not register them again if their IP changes?
