Tasmota and DS18x20

Hi,
After a lot of search I found a hint that Tasmota by default only can handle 8 sensors.
Is there an "set option" to get more sensors supported?
Or is there an existing binary with this feature already? I would like to use three or four GPIO and about 12 DS.... sensors with one 8266.

The docs describe what you need in a custom build to get more than 8 sensors supported.

With multiple sensors, you may also benefit from other optional features described on that page.

The standard precompiled builds already supports distributing your DS18X20_MAX_SENSORS across up to 4 gpio pins.

Hi sfromis,
Many thanks for your answere so far. I hoppend that there will be no custom release necessary to be build.
I´m afraid that i will not be ably to compile a version for my selfe.
What would be the correct source code to be used. I only need the sensors expanded to 12. Also MQQT need to be included to connect to Home Assistant.
Any help would be appreciated.
