hi friends, I'm having a small problem to creating a rule. I have a 0.96" OLED display and I want to display the time vertically on it. How can I split the format [t] in separate hour and minute and this show per row on the display?
Is that possible with a rule?

You can rotate the orientation, and instead of [t] you can have rules to update hours and minutes on selected x/y positions. In case of using ESP32, you also have Berry and HASPmota/LVGL providing greatly enhanced features for displays.

Do you perhaps have an example for me? I've tried, but I can't find a solution. I use a ESP8266 incl. 0,96" Oled and there I have only rules.
Are there any other ways to display the time besides using displaytext [t]?

Basically I already alluded to other ways of displaying time, which with the limitations of ESP8266 could be simple DisplayText commands, and rules to control updates of values. As illustration, here's a rule example getting hours in var1 and minutes in var2.
on Time#minute do Backlog var2=%value%%60; var1=(%value%-var2)/60 endon

That's the usual syntax in rules, with %var1% where you want to have the content. However, this cannot be in the same rule, but you can have a second rule with trigger on var1#state being run when var1 is updated.

This is due to all the %var1% being put into the text before evaluation of the rule even starts, meaning that you'd get the old value of the vars.

Now, I have 1 problem with the time value from %var1%. How can I change the Value from 22.00 to 22?

You can configure decimals from rules calculations using the CalcRes setting, it is saved persistently after setting once.

Instead of 3 rules with DisplayText commands, you could also have a single rule triggering on var2#state and either do only one DisplayText with all the data (and references like %var1%), or use Backlog0` to have multiple commands in one rule.

I'm new here and learning step by step. My system is already working.
I compile the Tasmota software with TasmoCompiler and now have a question about the Wi-Fi manager. I'm using the latest software version, and my problem is how to compile the software with a Wi-Fi manager if Tasmota can't find an access point.
In case that system have wifi datas but the accsesspoint is differnt.

Still, you can modify the value for #define WIFI_CONFIG_TOOL, but beware that it is bad security to automatically start WifiManager when primary Wifi is not available. Not recommended.
