Why does it take a long time (20-30 minutes) to stop the replication process?

I'm new to litestream and testing it out with the Laminar CI database replicating to SFTP.

When I try to stop the replication process it will take a long time for the process to stop:

Is this normal/expected?

Is there anything I can do to speed this up?
