Return to previously read article after Open in Browser

Hi team, I love dev.daily so far and have really been enjoying using it to get daily technology and programming insights.

My only major piece of feedback I would like (and I'm not sure if this is a current limitation of the version of Android I'm using or my browser or both) to submit for consideration is below:

I like to open articles or posts that are larger in my browser using the "Open in browser" option under the ellipsis so that I have it open in a tab to come back to later. The only problem with this I have found is when I press the back button from the article or post that is open, it seems to perform a page refresh and then returns me to the top of my feed, not to the post with the comments like you would expect.

Like I said, I'm not sure if this is just a limitation of my device or not but I feel like it would make you a smoother experience while using the app overall :)

Android version: ColorOS 14.0 Android 14 - 1 October 2025
Phone: OPPO Reno 8 5G
Browser: Brave 1.84.133

Thanks a lot for the feedback. We're constantly fighting this scroll to top issue. I'll try to reproduce.

Thank you, definitely not a deal breaker :) Also I realized in my op I got the name wrong and it's actually Daily.dev, I had been getting it wrong this whole time 😅
