Zed has an official Nightly build package for Windows now

The team has just announce a nightly build download path for Windows on Discord at https://zed.dev/api/releases/nightly/latest/zed_editor_installer_x86_64.exe

Should we switch scoop to use that instead of our current build workflow?

Probably. Let's give it a week. Being an installer, it might not be the best candidate for scoop.

I hadn't even noticed the official release.
The official version can be updated within the app, and there are no threading issues.
When using the version installed by Scoop, I was constantly plagued by threading issues, including restarting Zed and some LSP issues.

Same here, I have been using the deevus/zed-windows-builds as an easy nightly. Haven't had much issues with it but to have an installer and running this well before official release is promising. I have been testing it the last few hours and not spotted any weird bugs. Really good share vinhphm and much appreciated.

I'm converting this to a Discussion so the community can weigh in on whether we should:

• Continue providing custom builds with additional features
• Switch to distributing official builds via Scoop
• Maintain both options
