No tar.gz file for Linux? #1761
-
|
I see the .zip file for the green pull down code box, but Linux isn't compatible with .zip files. Can't really download and run a program when there is no file type compatible with my distro. Or I am blind and I can't find the file? I also tried git clone, but it doesn't seem any of the .json files want to run correctly to run r2modman. Yes, I enabled the 'Allow program as a executable' box in the properties of the file. I am using Linux Mint btw. The file extention I am looking for is tar.gz. Any other information and help is appreciated. |

Well, I found the tar.gz file. You just click on the 'latest release' and scroll down. Don't download the one that says (source code) . That's the wrong one if you want the GUI and everything. There should be a gear inside the file explorer named 'r2modman' click on that and everything should boot up. |
