[firestore] Invalid Collection ID causes an error to occur and UI to disappear

Describe the bug
Entering invalid input into the following form causes an error and the UI disappears

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Firestore'
2. Click on '+ Start collection'
3. Click 'Collection ID' input
4. Enter or paste in something invalid, like "https://example.com/"

Expected behavior
Shows an error message like "Invalid collection name", or something similar.
