Controller on Bluetooth mode breaks after using the library

Before loading the library the controller works just fine but after loading the library the controller is still being recognized by windows but no input is working.

I may have encountered a similar issue, but running under Linux.

My system is running Ubuntu 25.04 on ARM (Radxa Rock 3b)
Bluetooth is provided by the RTW8852BE.

Running a minimal script is enough to break things:

from pydualsense import pydualsense
import time

dualsense = pydualsense()
dualsense.init()
time.sleep(60)
dualsense.close()

After a few seconds, input and output seems frozen.

dmesg is not showing anything, but bluetoothd has something to say:

Jun 16 22:00:12 saeberhome bluetoothd[225041]: profiles/input/device.c:hidp_send_message() BT socket write error: Resource temporarily unavailable (11)

Further poking around the system shows that /dev/input loses all devices from the controller (3x eventX, 2x jsX one mouseX).

I tried some stuff in the sendReport() function, as this was the only thing running (as a thread) while the test script was sleeping.

It seems that, on some hardware, pushing data continuously to the controller in the writeReport() function is not working.

I could solve the issue by sleeping for a short time in the thread:

def sendReport(self) -> None:
...
        # prepare new report for device
        outReport = self.prepareReport()

        # write the report to the device
        self.writeReport(outReport)
        time.sleep(0.01) # <---- Hotfix for HID error
...

Of course, this is no permanent solution, as it reduces input and output refresh rates.

This issue may have nothing to do with pydualsense at all.

This seems more of bluetooth driver issue but maybe this helps someone else.
