Describe the solution you'd like

As a workflow designer, I expect ways of communicating with Foam the same way we do with coding agents and tools like KiloCode, to be open for getting basic information for pages (wikilinks, backlinks, aliases, tags, etc.). The agents could modify MarkDown as plaintext, but link-searching is a different level of problem.

@TomLucidor @M-Kepler can you elaborate? (also, let's merge the discussion here so to keep everything in one place)
e.g. give some use cases as well as proposed approaches (I get the feeling you have something in mind)

Just to be sure I fully understand what this ticket is about

@riccardoferretti here are some usecases I can think of, using KiloCode as an example code agent.

1. I want to command an LLM agent to help me edit Foam note(s) based on new information
2. Normally, the LLM will start using naive text search to find relevant information, which can get really slow
3. IF Foam has an MCP, so that the whole file link graph is exposed to the agent, it can traverse based on adjacent nodes
4. It traverses through the pages, and modify the MarkDown based on my requirements
5. Since it is an agent, it can recursively or iteratively go through the pages and do modification, maybe even draw new connections along the way into links, or create new pages based on large amounts of new information etc.

Step 0 can be added as a step for reading online information, or summarize documents, or having a long-form conversation with an agent, and discovering new ideas.

Here are some potential use cases.

If the MCP server could provide tools related to the "orphans" and "placeholders," then an LLM agent could use those tools to assist in working with them.

Another tool might provide awareness of the tags so that an LLM agent could find related notes, based on those tags.
