Analytics: GTA / Smorgasbord Conversions to users

Provide 3-5 years of outcomes metrics on: (1) recurring users and (2) new users who return 1+ times post-GTA week. In theory, should be able to do this with GTA registration list and login information.

@hujambo-dunia: Do you want to get this info from the registration data? For the Smörgåsbord (more than two years back), we would need @shiltemann to provide us with this information. I am not sure what you mean by login information?

I guess what @hujambo-dunia means is compare email addresses used to register for GTA/Smorg and email addresses associated with Galaxy accounts.

However, GDPR prevents us from keeping these email addresses long-term without explicit permission (so we cannot share the Smorg ones anymore).

An alternative angle could be to identify the Galaxy accounts that joined the TIaaS groups during Smorg/GTA, and look at their activity since. This would be a good reason to always use TIaaS during GTA (even if no special resources are configured behind the scenes)

@hujambo-dunia: Is this issue solved for you? We decided to shift the question of whether participants join an 'Event' to the registration for next year's GTA. We could also modify this question and ask which ones they joined, if you think this data is needed? Then we will not have issues with the GDPR...
