@sevpants

Description

@sevpants

Operating system

macOS

Version

Version 0.6.5.1 (Official Build, Chromium 142.0.7444.162) (arm64)

Have you tested that this is not an upstream issue or an issue with your configuration?

  • I have tried reproducing this issue in Chrome and it could not be reproduced there
  • I have tried reproducing this issue in ungoogled-chromium and it could not be reproduced there
  • I have tried reproducing this issue in Helium with a new and empty profile using --user-data-dir command line argument and it could not be reproduced there

Description

All published "private" are unable to be installed in Helium and return a "download error: access denied" error

How to Reproduce?

  1. Go to the private extensions category (prerequisite for this is that you are using Google Workspace and have published a Chrome Extension to your private organization)
  2. Click into any extension
  3. Click "Add to Chrome"
  4. Witness error message.

Actual behavior

After clicking Add to Chrome, this message pops up regardless of the extension (have tried with several).
