Significantly more crashed with 4.0 code base

Even if the situation has improved after last release I be,ieve with still have a problem. Crash rate over 0.5 percent is kind of a regression.

We should list the scenarios of crash and fix them.

@kelson42 The crash were increases with 0.5% due to this issue.

It was fixed in the latest release of Wikimed app. That's why the situation is improved after last release.

Apart from this, a one more issue i have noticed in the PS. For this, i have created a issue #4486.

I see you have open #4486, is there no other crash scenario identifiable?

@kelson42 There are total 16 crashses reported by the playStore for our latest wikimed app.

Some of them are java-libkiwix based:

And some of them are subissue of #4486 (Due to foreground service) which we will fix in this ticket(or in sub tickets of this if needed).

A last issue i have recently saw and there is only 1 crash for that i have opened a issue #4488.

@MohitMaliFtechiz What is the status here? Do we have still issues/crash reports to fix? I'm still worried as the crash level for WikiMed is high and does not really go down anymore. That been said, if you have no other crash scenarios or crash root cause you see you could fix, then please release a new version of WikiMed custom app (English) with https://mirror.download.kiwix.org/zim/.hidden/custom_apps/mdwiki_en_all-app_maxi_2025-11.zim based on latest git HEAD

@kelson42 All the reported crash bugs are fixed, the last one is #4502, which is almost fixed, but I need your feedback on that. After that, we can release the wikimed app.

@MohitMaliFtechiz OK, still strange the stats does not really go down. So please fix the last issue and release Wikimed. There is no reason anymore to keep this issue open, therefore I will close it.
