There are few things that are missing and can be found in https://github.com/kubev2v/forklift/blob/main/cmd/vsphere-xcopy-volume-populator/README.md

• the complete tables for all 9 storage vendors
• the critical limitation about not mixing VDDK and copy-offload mappings
• an explanation on two clone methods (VIB and SSH) and when/how to use each
• a vendor-specific configuration requirements (ONTAP_SVM, PURE_CLUSTER_PREFIX, etc.) - although it can be covered by the first point
