Building with nosd variant

I wanted to try a small example, but without linking the bluetooth libraries as I need the space for my program...

So I was using the bbc-microbit-classic-gcc-nosd yotta target. Everything is fine, except I can't get it to display anything on the device e.g. with display scroll (using just the very basic example from this repository). Any ideas?

Thanks for the report and the update, and apologies for the late reply.

I had a look at this recently and looks like the BLE and pairing mode default values are 1 so the nosd target ends up trying to call SoftDevice functions.

To fix it you can create a config.json file in the root directory (next to the module.json file) with this content:
