The solaris CI has become flaky

Since about a month or so, the solairs CI has started failing occasionally (2-3x a week). Usually the ssh connection dies during the "Run prepare in VM" step while dowloading whatever 1G thing it tries to download:

  Download: 1871/2206 items   734.1/1092.4MB  67% complete 
  Download: 1871/2206 items   724.0/1092.4MB  66% complete 
  client_loop: send disconnect: Broken pipe
  Error: The process '/usr/bin/bash' failed with exit code 255

Is it possible to make this more stable?
