ECP Doesn't appear in Command Palette (ARM64)

Extension worked before flawlessly (I don't remember the exact version).

I've read that this issue (#16) was fixed for PowerToys update v0.91.1. But I'm not running PowerToys in admin mode.

Extension shows as installed in Windows Start Menu and Microsoft Store, but doesn't appear listed in the Command Palette extension list and cannot be invoked via Command Palette.

I've tried with a fresh reinstall of PowerToys; uninstalling and reinstalling extension via winget; uninstalling extension, open PowerToys, then close PowerToys and reinstalling extension...

Is there any way to share logs or something?

Another method of checking if ECP is running is to check task manager:

I've only experienced this in 2 situations, but neither seems to be applicable to you:

1. You're missing Windows App SDK 1.6
   (you tried winget, so this isn't applicable, winget installs this as dependency)

2. Your windows region setting is on World instead of a specific region
   (Since you can open MS store this shouldn't be the case)

can you navigate to this folder: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\VictorLin.EverythingCP_0.2.0.0_x64__yazqh14evg2ve and confirm if there's a file called Everything2_x64 or Everything2_ARM64?

My guess is something got messed up, and somehow you're installing x64 on ARM, or I messed up and compiled the ARM files with x64 configurations.

Yeah, file in ARM64 is present

I've checked architecture of processes to check what you said:

• PowerToys.exe running ARM64
• EverythingCmdPal.exe running ARM64
• Two processes of EverythingARM64.exe running ARM64 (for my user and SYSTEM user)

I've tested x64 and:

Version 0.1.0.0 x64 of application works fine.
Version 0.2.0.0 x64 of application works fine.

There should be something wrong with arm64 binaries...

Wait x64 of ECP works on ARM?
I was under the impression that it doesn't, that's why I compile a separate ARM release.

If x64 works, then use that for now.

The dll files that's used to communicate with Everything was self compiled instead of using the official binaries (because of file signature issues).
I must have used the wrong configuration when compiling the dll for arm.

Yeah, x64 works under Prism emulation layer. It should work anyway... But it's always more energy efficient to use ARM64.

I'll keep on eye on the fix. Until then i'll use x64.

There's an alpha with an updated arm dll, should work now. But alpha is only for ECP, not ECP3, haven't gotten around to updating ECP3.
