Open completion candiate in other window

Hi! I am trying to make a keybinding for opening a file in other window. My solution above kinda works, however it doesnt close the minibuffer after the keypress. I have tried various solutions, but none of them works. It seems like the other window closes when the minibuffer closes, and i am not sure how to solve this. Thanks for the help!
