Bugreport when example video can't be shared publicly

So, I've noticed a bug with dmabuf-wayland that has an odd displaying issue with a single video. The issue is, that video isn't publicly available and I don't own the rights on the video. On GitLab you often have the option to make a bug report private so only people with high enough permissions can access such attachments. I didn't see such an option here. Is there any way to submit this bug properly?

If it's a copyright problem, you can open an issue and link the sample video in mpv-devel irc channel, though keep in mind anyone can join that channel.

If it's just a private video that you don't wish to share, you can try using ffmpeg to cut out a single frame from the video without reencoding and see if your issue reproduces with that and give us that 1-frame video.

It's a bit more complicated. It's actually an "attachment" to a paper. I can link to the paper, but only if you already have access to it these attachments will be shown.

And it doesn't seem to be codec dependent. I first tried fixing it by transcoding to h264 (from h264) in case it was just something off with the file, but that didn't do anything. So I transcoded to FFV1 to have a raw representation, and only then I realized it was only showing the weird behavior in mpv, so I ran it with gpu as backend and the issue was gone.

So how exactly should I store the frame? I know how to extract a frame e.g. as PNG, but what would be the best format for upload?

If it's a video, you can use ffmpeg -skip_frame nokey -i input.mp4 -frames:v 1 -c:v copy out.mp4 to get the first keyframe.
