Hey @nul800sebastiaan - how close do you think this is to being finished? And do you plan to merge it back to the original repo? Happy to help out to get it out there sooner over the Christmas break, as it's on my list of plugins I want to see in Umbraco 15 :)

Hey @robertjf !! Honestly, we got a way in but were battling the GMaps API all the way and didn't get far enough.

However.. I did then work with GitHub Copilot for a second try and I am absolutely sure the javascript is very dirty and needs some help but I got pretty far. I have a Datatype with config options for API Key, map type and zoom level and the property editor works and saves locations. It's probably not the best UI, bit rough around the edges but it does a thing.

This is the Extension project. I think I even got it to pack (dotnet pack --configuration Release --output .\release\) and it did install in a clean Umbraco site.
Make sure to do an npm ci in the Client\assets folder first and a dotnet build in the root of this project.
