@mendax1234 Yes, it stands for any variant, though I am not sure if the special characters are inserted by nusmods. From what I surmise this is just how NUS' API represent the prerequisite, which nusmods then parses. For more accurate info and faster reply I think you should just ask in the telegram chat. |

Hi NUSMODS developer,
My group is using the nusmods API in one of our group projects at NUS. We have noticed that some courses prereq tree includes something like "CS1010%:D". For example, an example is CG2111A. We think the special character "%" here means any CS1010x, where "x" represents the variants, will fulfill the prereq to take CG2111A. Is our understanding correctly?
Besides, may I ask whether there are any other special characters like "%" used in the prereq tree in NUSMODS? As we may want to deal with these special characters specifically when parsing and checking the prereq.
