Hi! Glad you are liking pangolin! I cant say we are familiar with Synology Mailplus server but if it is web based you should be able to do it fairly easily! If you also need SMTP and IMAP ports exposed you could use https://docs.fossorial.io/Pangolin/tcp-udp. Just make sure Hetzner does not block SMTP. I am not sure how this could impact email deliver ability though. |

Hi, I'm also interested in proxying a Mail server. Easy: Hard because ISPs suck: With some VPS providers, it's possible to set a PTR record for leased PIPs (Public IPs). With your ISP, probably not so much, unless you are a Business customer. The Solution to that Problem is to Use the Reverse Proxy as a normal TCP/UDP Proxy. Which is a rather Simple Task if we do not want to use any middleware. @oschwartz10612 Do you think it's Possible to use the Newt / Gerbil Structure already in place with Pangolin, to use the Pangolin-Host as en "exit" node ? Maybe it's possible to set the Newt as the default gateway for a MTA? So that a VPS with the corresponding PTR would be the Sending and Receiving end ? |

Hello,
I am running Pangolin on a Hetzner server in Germany. Thank you very much for creating such a great solution. I would like to make my Synology Mailplus server accessible via Pangolin. Is this possible? Do you have any instructions for this?
Many thanks and best regards from Germany
Stefan
