Netcloud database to slow

Hi,

I did install your image on a OMV Nas and when I try to import a .vcf file into the Adressbuch about 300 of 390 vcards fail.

I see a lot of these in the logfile:

webdav

DbalException

An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 database is locked

What can I do?
Is there a way to change to mariadb?

couple notes

1. if you have your db on nfs/smb share it will regularly be locked, databases do not support file based remote mounts
2. you say OMV but OMV is just a webui on debian. You are running debian linux, but you're not sharing how you installed docker, how you deployed the container, or your container logs.
3. no clue on changing from sqlite to mariadb, but the installer and the nextcloud documentation do tell you that sqlite is for testing only and you should use a real db

You do, you get asked during the Nextcloud setup wizard.

Omv doesn't have a docker UI, it gives you an option if docker compose (we support this) or portainer (we do not support this) and add both myself and j0nny mentioned, both the nextcloud install wizard and their documentation tell you not to use sqlite

the manual does say nothing about the DB.

I just started with docker, so i have to create a mariadb docker ?

I'm unsure why you've come in here arguing about everything if you're just going to constantly argue. there is an entire database configuration section of the nextcloud documentation, it specifically doesn't even have sqlite in it. and as j0nny showed you from the wizard the wizard tells you very clearly NOT to use sqlite. from the nextcloud documentation
The MySQL or MariaDB databases are the recommended database engines.
