Hi, So as today also the Enterprise Edition code and relative jar as been released with the Apache license, so fully open source, so for the technical side you can include simply downloading the agent.jar that you can find in the release post ( ex: last release https://github.com/orientechnologies/orientdb/releases/tag/3.2.39 ) adding that jar in the plugin directory will add all the features of the enterprise edition. The main thing that you can exploit to improve the reliability of the server is the incremental backup, that is no blocking (so read and write operations can be done while backup is running) and can be run frequently with full and incremental snapshot of the data. In terms of direct support from someone in case of critical error, you can contact me at [email protected] Regards |

We are currently using the Community Edition for development and it has been a great experience so far!
We will deploy our project into production and i would like to clarify if the Enterprise Edition license is necessary in our case.
In production, we need to ensure:
Who can confirm to me whether these needs can be fully met by the Community Edition or whether we should consider upgrading to the Enterprise Edition to cover these requirements? And how?
Thank you in advance for your help!
