Not sending snapshots when cypress fails

Hi there,

We have a similar issue to this - #333 where we want to essentially ignore a build (or not send any snapshots for comparison for this failed build) when our cypress tests fail for reasons unrelated to percy. We're planning on playing around with PERCY_TARGET_COMMIT, but wanted to check first if there is a more elegant way to solve this with percy/cypress?

Hey @Jonzy3000! There's currently no way to disregard or mark builds as failed. You might be able to do something clever with PERCY_TARGET_COMMIT but that only works with newly created builds rather than something after the fact and could be a bit complicated to achieve. This is something that's already on our feature request roadmap but isn't currently prioritized. When that changes I'll be sure to come back and bump this discussion with an update
