Notification Email Language selection

From SF:

When a co-worker of mine updates a task (i.e. assigns it to me) an email is sent to me.
His setting is Spanish.
My setting is English.
The email is sent in Spanish, applying his setting (presumably) instead of mine.

Solution:
When sending an email notification, check the recipients preferred language and use the appropriate email template.
