fullwidth Theme Search Suggestions Text Is Going Off Screen

When enter text to search, a list of suggestions appear, but I notice that the text is actually going off the browser along with the container. Actually you can swipe horizontally to the right to reveal the rest of the text, but at the point everything is white because the menu also pushed past the view port I think.

Need someone with actual css skills to eg. figure out how to set the max-width properly for tt-menu.
