This has been open for a while, and I am currently not 100% certain that we should replace the metric or introduce a new one. If it doesn't mind, we can start by adding a new metric and we can decide at a later date if we need to remove the existing percentage one.

Let me know if you need any help navigating the code base or figuring out what needs to be done.
