Only auto_show certain sources?

Is there a way to get auto_show to only show items from certain sources?

I have:

auto_show = function(ctx, items) return items[1].source_id == "path" end,

Which works to only auto_show when the first item is a path, but it also shows items from other default sources below, which I'd only like to appear when I run the "show" action.

If this isn't already implemented, a nice solution would be to be able to set auto_show = true in source provider option tables.
