There have been some pending updates to the draft SPEC 14: "Interactive Documentation" – scientific-python/specs#388 around new advances in the Pyodide and emscripten-forge ecosystems, and some new updates to projects using the interactive documentation ecosystem (NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn; primarily) can be planned.
I have a bunch of ideas surrounding this:
- more streamlined and immersive interactive docs elements
- updates to new Pyodide/xeus and kernel versions
- https://github.com/jupyterlite/sphinx-demo and possibly refactoring some parts of the SPEC into the blog post
- resolving pain points around adoption of interactive docs
