Description

When using bottom-tabs and native header, the first time you focus a tab, the screen will jump/flicker and not being in the correct position as you can see on the video. This happens on Fabric and on Paper.

It started happening after this PR: #2756

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add enableEdgeToEdge to MainActivity to enable edge to edge below API 35
  2. Add @react-navigation/bottom-tabs
  3. Each bottom tab is a Native Stack
  4. When loading the app, the first time you focus a tab, the screen will flicker and not being in the correct position
