Use Set (SvelteSet) in PersistedState

I can't seem to use a Set of any kind really in PersistedState.
is it possible or does this get ignored in serialization process?
If i try to use it i get...
TypeError: Method Set.prototype.values called on incompatible receiver #<Set>

I've been having this problem as well, even when using a custom serializer.
