Slow Node Updates on Instances Compared to Detached Objects #3641

Describe the bug
There is a severe performance issue when the plugin updates the nodes of a complex component instance. The process can take an unacceptably long time (4+ minutes), making the plugin feel frozen or unresponsive. However, if the same instance is detached from its main component, the exact same update operation completes almost instantly (under 5 seconds).
