Issue Description

I have two Marstek B-2500-D batteries.
Battery 1: Version V110, Communication Module: 202310231502
Battery 2: Version V116, Communication Module: 202310231502

Unfortunately, I’m having an issue where the connection to Home Assistant keeps dropping. I’ve already enabled the MQTT proxy function, but it didn’t improve the situation.
Sometimes only one of the batteries shows up, sometimes they alternate, and occasionally both are either completely available or completely disconnected.
Does anyone have a possible solution to this problem?

Did you also enter the proxy address as the MQTT port on your batteries?

I reconfigured everything again today, but unfortunately, the connection drops keep happening — but only with one of the batteries.

Just make sure to give each storage a unique username. No need to use the proxy if you do so.

Unique username and i use the Proxy.. no Problem until the Same day as the other user. No Updates.. maybe the v116 is the Problem. On monday i will testing without Proxy 👍

You could ask for a new communication module version (mine is 202409090159). which solved my Wifi issues, maybe it helps with your connection drops.
And you could ask for firmware 106.6 to be up-to-date.

I have the same issues, same firmware version:

First one V110 - works almost good
Second one wit V116 - very often unavailable.

Sometimes a WiFi reconnect via my Unifi controller helps and somtimes I need to restart the Battery via Marstek App (Bluetooth).
The Communication Module firmware is exactly the same.

It's not the only Problem I have with V116.... If the battery is fully charged and Solar still provides electricity, I can't adjust the output dynamically. The battery will drop to 0W output und flap between feed-in and don't feed in.
After sunset it's working again ....

Has anyone ever asked Marstek about a firmware downgrade?

Yesterday I asked Marstek through the app whether I could get an update.

Today the answer came: yes, gladly.

The firmware v116.6 appears to be the newest one, and the communication module was previously on firmware 202310231502 and is now on 202409090159.

Now to see whether this will fix the communication issues.
