Hi folks,

Since the decision to remove third party cookies, browser vendors have approached TAG with a number of potential technologies that share data across domains in some way. For example, Related Website Sets, Related Website Partition API, and most recently Extending Storage Access API (SAA) to non-cookie storage.

We suspect more of these kinds of specifications will pop up as browsers want (& in some cases need) a way to share data across domains; however, TAG believes there are inherent privacy concerns around this. It's clear that browsers are going to keep submitting proposals that speak to this problem. We think it'd be a good idea to start thinking about how to address this problem and think the Privacy WG is the best place for that.

GPC has some open PRs, worth discussion and perhaps near consensus, on scope of the request:

• Align all descriptions of GPC to say it's meant to restrict sale and sharing of data. gpc#102
• Align all descriptions of GPC to say it restricts sharing and targeting between different organizations. gpc#104

I believe this is just one discussion topic even though there are multiple PRs, so we'll try to keep this to 5-10 minutes.

On the fingerprinting front:

• Reorganize the Best Practices as described in #70 fingerprinting-guidance#81 is awaiting comments
• Expand the section on randomness and update it. fingerprinting-guidance#76 is also awaiting comments
• Add references for Ephemeral Fingerprinting fingerprinting-guidance#74 has been merged
