Currently, WoUSO lacks real incentives to keep you playing and playing. One way to change that would be to implement the concept of "collectible resources" - different objects / materials that players obtain by completing activities and / or trading currency - used to build and personalize new items. In projecting them, the following aspects should be taken into account:

  • the model must be a generic one - the engine has been ported to other applications and this feature could easily become handy in those projects too

  • they have to be flexible items - allow them to be upgraded in tiers. The inferior classes would be foundation for the upper ones

  • make them into modules that can later be combined or directly made into objects of their own
