Currently I am coding at Red Hat for the Ansible Automation Platform.

I am the creator and maintainer of Dynaconf the Python settings library and Marmite The easiest Static Blog Generator written in Rust, an book Author, Member of the Python Software Foundation, Educator at LINUXtips and as a free time hobby I like to experiment with Rust Language.

At the moment my main interests are: Python and Rust Languages, Automation, Distributed Systems, Self Hosting and digital sovereignty, Gravel or Classic Road Bikes, Progressive Metal and the magical malted water of Scotland.

Ever since I joined GitHub 15 years ago, I pushed 6486 commits, opened 1119 issues, submitted 1284 pull requests, reviewed 1599 PRs, received 9680 stars across 92 personal projects, and contributed to 52 public repositories.
