Code Review

This pull request introduces const DEFAULT implementations for CompressionMethod, DateTime, and FileOptions, which is a nice improvement for users who need const contexts. The changes are mostly straightforward, but I found a critical issue in the feature flag for the default compression method and a minor typo in a docstring. The doc link fixes are also appreciated.
