Summary of Changes

Hello @Simon9997, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces an enhancement to the stream trigger scan plan generation by eliminating an unnecessary tbname scan operation. The modification specifically targets the createStreamReqBuildTriggerSelect function, preventing the tbname function from being added to the projection list of the trigger's SELECT statement, which can lead to more efficient trigger execution.

Highlights

  • Stream Trigger Scan Plan Optimization: Removed the explicit inclusion of the tbname function from the projection list during the construction of SELECT statements for stream triggers. This change streamlines the trigger generation process.

Code Review

This pull request removes an unconditional tbname scan from the stream trigger scan plan, which is a good optimization. The change is correct, but it leaves an unused variable pFunc and a corresponding cleanup call. It would be cleaner to remove them as well.

The variable pFunc is no longer used after the changes. This call to nodesDestroyNode can be removed. It would also be good to remove the declaration of pFunc on line 14715 to avoid compiler warnings about an unused variable.
