Concepts behind Data Oriented programming

Yehonathan Sharvit edited this page Apr 13, 2021 · 1 revision

Data-Oriented programming (DOP), as a language-agnostic paradigm, is founded on a certain understanding (interpretation?) of some programming related concepts.

This glossary is an attempt to make DOP better understood in the global community of developers and to explain how DOP differs from Object-Oriented programming and functional programming.

The concepts are presented in alphabetical order.
